Network Components 

Wi-Fi Provide wireless Internet services to end user. there are four different Network components .

1> Wireless Accesss Point (AP)

2>Wireless Clients , User equpment , Station 

3>Wireless LAN Controller.

4> Wired Infrastructure 

Wireless Access Point (AP) -

Wireless AP is commonly known as wireless router. Wireless Access Point connect with wired Infrastructure and give connection to end user. Wireless AP is responsible to radiate WLAN (Wireless Local Area Network) . End User connect its devices to WLAN and use Internet.


Wireless Clients (UE,STA)-

Wireless clients are Phones, laptop or any other devices where internet is used. For using wireless internet, it is important client support wireless communication.  these devices connect to WLAN and access internet.


Wireless LAN Controller -

Wireless Controller is a software which is responsible for communication between AP and UE.  Software Management , Configuration Management etc are some of its tasks.


Wired Infrastructure -

Wireless Access Points and wireless Controller are connected to each other by different wired connections. All these switchs , routers comes in wired infrastructure .
